I was going though my old posts and realised I had this in the draft section and never posted it. Thought I'd share:
Well guess what?
I am Finally a Canadian. At 10:30, on the morning of July first, Canada's 141st birthday, with my right hand held up I said my pledge of allegiance to country and queen. It was one of those very special moments I will always remember, especially being able to sing the Canadian anthem as a Canadian for the very first time. Thank you Vince, Miranda, and all of Lorna's family for showing up, and please guys... no more deportation jokes.
